As soon as we heard about Many Hopes we wanted to be involved. After skyping with the Founder (and enjoying his irish accent) we became invested into the vision of this great organization. Many Hopes doesn’t just look at the issues of today, but believes in a better tomorrow. We do too. FreelyBe believes that if we can raise a generation that knows how to lead and help a hurting world, then true freedom is right around the corner. It’s not just about being the change you wish to see in the world, but helping
others to be that change as well.
"Nobody cares more about justice than those who have suffered injustice..."
Many Hopes equips children who have suffered some of the worst exploitation and provides them with education, confidence, and nutrients to be the leaders of their generation. Instead of just housing the victims of injustice, they believe in tackling the causes of injustice. Starting with education. Mudzini Kwetu is the girls home in Ntwapa, Kenya. There they have been able to make a community water tank, Soccer field, tiapia Farm, Farm, Biogas Digester, Laundry, and an Outdoor Kitchen. Now they are developing a New School to have a larger capacity of 720 plus pre-school and a higher quality curriculum taking the best from the U.K., U.S., and Kenya. Higher academic standards will attract fee paying students and further help Many Hopes to be a sustainable solution to funding greater projects such as a Community Health Center, and a Maternal Health Center.
“Nobody cares more about justice than those who have suffered injustice. If we equip children, who have suffered the worst of exploitation, with the education in their heads, the confidence in their bellies and the network at their fingertips to match that desire already in their hearts they will do work we could never do.”- Many Hopes Manifesto
