FreelyBe has built a platform to turn your social life into a social investment. By attending premiere events at New York's most exclusive venues, FreelyBe members directly benefit non-profits working for social change.
Most people who are socially responsible donate to charity so they can check off that moral check-box in their head that says “you were responsible.”
We believe in something much greater: social investment. The difference is that socially-invested individuals are closely tied to the progress and results of their donation. While this seems to require more time, money, and effort, it actually just requires a different approach.
What if there were a way to take things you already do and use them to raise money and change the world? What if we could introduce you to the individuals you are directly helping? What if your birthday party was able to feed a girl named Millennia for an entire year? All you had to do was have a birthday party, and you could potentially save Millenia from starvation and dying of malnutrition.
Yeah. It’s that simple.
As a liaison between non-profits and corporations, FreelyBe works to enhance the former by improving their business and marketing models, and the latter by improving their social investment strategy.
Our own creative event planning model is the perfect example of this. Within the three facets of FreelyBe (The Collective, Cultivate and Bottle4Bottle) we help corporations – as well as the general public – incorporate social investing into their business model and lives. Through The Collective we bring together New York City influencers to help raise awareness about this process, while also developing unique networking opportunities in the form of an exclusive curated event.
Through Cultivate, FreelyBe consults partner NGO’s and young entrepreneurs by way of marketing and social media strategies, as well as organizing experiential events. Through Bottle4Bottle, FreelyBe uses their partnerships with venues throughout New York City to create opportunities for both the venue and individuals to become socially invested.
There’s a difference between social responsibility and social investment. One is an act, the other is a lifestyle. We believe that every business and every individual needs a platform to be socially invested, and FreelyBe wants to be the bridge that makes that happen.
